The post below was originally made in November of 2008 after my first ever visit to Arlington National Cemetary. In 3 weeks I will visit the same Marine son mentioned in the posting but this time the visit is to witness him being pinned with wings as a Marine Corps Pilot. Am I a proud Mama? If you have to ask, you just wouldn't understand.

Lest anybody dare to think that my absence from this site during the past week was related to my state of shock that America will soon be led by a man less qualified than my cat to lead the country, I must inform you that I had a much more important item on my agenda: I was in Quantico, VA attending my son’s graduation from Marine Corps TBS (aka Officer Training School).

While that alone was a momentous occasion that brings me immeasurable pride, the icing on THAT cake was that I also got to visit Washington DC and, most importantly, Arlington National Cemetery. As I stood mesmerized by the endless rows of graves, I dared to attempt to share the pain of the mothers whose sons are buried there but that proved to be an impossible task and a burden I humbly admit I am not strong enough to bear.

We were privileged to also have time to pay our respects to those whose ultimate sacrifices are forever honored by the Vietnam Wall, the Korean War Memorial, and the World War II Memorial and I encourage each of you to visit. I believe you, too, will leave humbled and ever more grateful for the service and sacrifice our Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines make every day of their lives.

Finally! A State Senate Dares to Get Stuff Done!

So that sneaky (smart!), conniving (shrewd!) Wisconsin State Senate passed a ban on Collective Bargaining for public employees in spite of AWOL Democrat members. Fabulous! I hope every state in the Union follows suit.

And the instant this measure was passed, protestors in the Senate screamed at the Republicans, “You are cowards!” While their own Democrat representatives were hiding out in another state to avoid performing their own job duties?! And Sen. Jauch complained about this bill being “rammed through” (the same way Obama’s Healthcare Law was?)

This has become my new sport: watching the Democrats crumble like stale cookies. It is such fun to watch, I wish I could DVR it!

Once again, the current President of the United States met with the leader from another country and agreed to all of their demands.

Obama and Mexico’s President Calderon met March 3, 2011 and here’s what ‘they’ decided:

1) Any American law enforcement agent working in Mexico can NOT carry weapons for self-protection. That’s nice, President Obama. When you visit Mexico, are your Secret Service Agents packing heat? If so, I don’t understand the difference.

2) US highways will soon be opened up to Mexican trucks carrying ‘freight’. Whew! Now entire families of illegal immigrants who once were forced to individually slither across the border via Arizona and Texas deserts can enter the US in climate-controlled, air-ride suspension comfort. I’m sure they send you their thanks, Mr. President!

3) The United States will spend $1.49B ($900M by the end of 2011) to help Mexico fight its own drug cartels. How sweet! If only we had a gangs, drugs, and rampant crime in our own country so Mexico could offer to reciprocate with some financial assistance of its own.

There is so much speculation about why this President wants everyone outside the US to like him more than those INSIDE but I still feel his loyalties are strongest to our Muslim neighbors. This whole “Be Nice to Mexico” thing is just to dilute the appearance of his loyalty to his Muslim friends.

My son and I had a spirited conversation today and he asked that exact question.

“The Middle East is on fire. Government employees here in America are refusing to work. American citizens are assumed criminals in our own airports. Gasoline and food are about to be unaffordable. Mexico’s border is slowly moving northward and the lawlessness it brings is terrifying. And where is my President? What does HE think about all this? Does anybody know?”

My son is frustrated. REALLY frustrated. President Obama is pretty much MIA when it comes to matters that are important to my family and I. Of course we were prepared for that but we always thought that after spending some time on the job, Obama would realize that he is supposed to be President to ALL Americans. Not just Union workers, environmentalists, and the gay communinity. And certainly not just the Muslims. But ALL of us.

My son and I concluded that America is on auto-pilot for the next two years and we certainly hope there’s enough fuel to get us to the next election. We just can’t decide if we should wear our seatbelts. I mean, what if we need to jump?

WHY did I do it??! I'm sitting at my desk enjoying my lunch when I opted to watch this video of the Obama's dancing in India. (You remember the India trip, right? The one so dangerous it required a naval fleet escort but NOT too dangerous to take his family along for the ride...??). Anyhow, now I'm nauseous and can't finish my meal.

The 2012 Republican Presidential candidate simply needs to play this video as his/her only campaign ad. The caption would read: "End the embarrassment: no more wimpy, flailing stick-man as President!" That's all. Even my cat would win the election with that commercial.

One more thing: how dare Mrs. Obama tell me to change my eating habits. Just look at those shanks she's sporting! And since I'm feeling especially catty today, can someone on Mrs. Obama's staff please pull her aside and tell her ENOUGH ALREADY: STOP WEARING YOUR DAUGHTERS' SWEATERS!! >^..^<

I watched our President give his supposedly 'humble' speech on 11/3, the day after we the people FINALLY got a chance to speak our minds and send a few parasites to the same Unemployment line their actions have forced millions of Americans into.

First of all, BO is not humbled. He's ticked off. Second, he has NO plans to 'work with' anybody who has ideas even slightly different from his own. And if he refers to us as 'Folks" one more time I will vomit on my television because it only emphasizes his self-imposed superiority over us meager uninformed, frightened, cowering peasants who are barely capable of tying our own shoes.

Stay strong, new Republicans … stay strong!! Get in his face and gently declare: "We will compromise with you exactly as much as you have compromised with us and the American people the past two years." Can I get a "Boooyah!!"??

The Ground Zero Mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf publicly proclaimed that the site of the 911 terrorist attacks is NOT hallowed ground and he wishes people would quit referring to it that way. Well, duh! It's not 'hallowed ground' to him … it's much more.

It's the End Zone of a Super Bowl winning touchdown. It's Home Plate after a winning World Series grand slam. It's the Stanley Cup, the Green Blazer from Augusta, and the checkered flag of the Daytona 500 all rolled into one.

Seriously? There are actually people out there who are surprised that BO has no problem with a Mosque being built (practically) on top of Ground Zero? Even after members of the Muslim faith have acknowledged that the location selection for the new Mosque is specifically intended as a smack-down on America? How dare anybody feign surprise over BO's wink & nod to the Mosque being built so close to Ground Zero!

To add insult to injury, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church which was destroyed during the September 11, 2001 tragedy has been DENIED permission to rebuild by the same New York Port Authority that granted approval of the Mosque! Keep turning your head away in denial of BO's true intentions, America, and by the time you snap it back around the White House will have been renovated to include domes and minarets and at the next State of the Union Address you'll hear, "All bow to Imam Obama."

I'll tell you what this situation reminds me of: In the early 1980's I worked for Kmart and there were over 3000 Kmart stores then. It was around this time Walmart was getting really strong and was advancing into bigger cities. Their strategy was to build shiny new Walmart stores directly across the street from existing Kmart stores. The dated Kmart stores tried but many were simply not up to the challenge and, one by one, began closing their doors. I remember one instance where after a particular Kmart store officially shut down, management at the Walmart across the street hung a gigantic banner on the front of its bright new store proclaiming "One Down, 3000 to Go!!" Yeah, this Mosque situation looks eerily similar to me.

So both Barack Obama and Joe Biden gave their versions of 'tribute' to our fallen soldiers on this Memorial Day. Sit back and enjoy the words of Ronald Reagan from 1986 as he showed everyone else how it's really done.

"Today is the day we put aside to remember fallen heroes and to pray that no heroes will ever have to die for us again. It's a day of thanks for the valor of others, a day to remember the splendor of America and those of her children who rest in this cemetery and others. It's a day to be with the family and remember.

I was thinking this morning that across the country children and their parents will be going to the town parade and the young ones will sit on the sidewalks and wave their flags as the band goes by. Later, maybe, they'll have a cookout or a day at the beach. And that's good, because today is a day to be with the family and to remember.

Arlington, this place of so many memories, is a fitting place for some remembering. So many wonderful men and women rest here, men and women who led colorful, vivid, and passionate lives. There are the greats of the military: Bull Halsey and the Admirals Leahy, father and son; Black Jack Pershing; and the GI's general, Omar Bradley. Great men all, military men. But there are others here known for other things.

Here in Arlington rests a sharecropper's son who became a hero to a lonely people. Joe Louis came from nowhere, but he knew how to fight. And he galvanized a nation in the days after Pearl Harbor when he put on the uniform of his country and said, "I know we'll win because we're on God's side." Audie Murphy is here, Audie Murphy of the wild, wild courage. For what else would you call it when a man bounds to the top of a disabled tank, stops an enemy advance, saves lives, and rallies his men, and all of it single-handedly. When he radioed for artillery support and was asked how close the enemy was to his position, he said, "Wait a minute and I'll let you speak to them."

Michael Smith is here, and Dick Scobee, both of the space shuttle Challenger. Their courage wasn't wild, but thoughtful, the mature and measured courage of career professionals who took prudent risks for great reward—in their case, to advance the sum total of knowledge in the world. They're only the latest to rest here; they join other great explorers with names like Grissom and Chaffee.

Oliver Wendell Holmes is here, the great jurist and fighter for the right. A poet searching for an image of true majesty could not rest until he seized on "Holmes dissenting in a sordid age." Young Holmes served in the Civil War. He might have been thinking of the crosses and stars of Arlington when he wrote: "At the grave of a hero we end, not with sorrow at the inevitable loss, but with the contagion of his courage; and with a kind of desperate joy we go back to the fight."

All of these men were different, but they shared this in common: They loved America very much. There was nothing they wouldn't do for her. And they loved with the sureness of the young. It's hard not to think of the young in a place like this, for it's the young who do the fighting and dying when a peace fails and a war begins. Not far from here is the statue of the three servicemen—the three fighting boys of Vietnam. It, too, has majesty and more. Perhaps you've seen it—three rough boys walking together, looking ahead with a steady gaze. There's something wounded about them, a kind of resigned toughness. But there's an unexpected tenderness, too. At first you don't really notice, but then you see it. The three are touching each other, as if they're supporting each other, helping each other on.

I know that many veterans of Vietnam will gather today, some of them perhaps by the wall. And they're still helping each other on. They were quite a group, the boys of Vietnam—boys who fought a terrible and vicious war without enough support from home, boys who were dodging bullets while we debated the efficacy of the battle. It was often our poor who fought in that war; it was the unpampered boys of the working class who picked up the rifles and went on the march. They learned not to rely on us; they learned to rely on each other. And they were special in another way: They chose to be faithful. They chose to reject the fashionable skepticism of their time. They chose to believe and answer the call of duty. They had the wild, wild courage of youth. They seized certainty from the heart of an ambivalent age; they stood for something.

And we owe them something, those boys. We owe them first a promise: That just as they did not forget their missing comrades, neither, ever, will we. And there are other promises. We must always remember that peace is a fragile thing that needs constant vigilance. We owe them a promise to look at the world with a steady gaze and, perhaps, a resigned toughness, knowing that we have adversaries in the world and challenges and the only way to meet them and maintain the peace is by staying strong.

That, of course, is the lesson of this century, a lesson learned in the Sudetenland, in Poland, in Hungary, in Czechoslovakia, in Cambodia. If we really care about peace, we must stay strong. If we really care about peace, we must, through our strength, demonstrate our unwillingness to accept an ending of the peace. We must be strong enough to create peace where it does not exist and strong enough to protect it where it does. That's the lesson of this century and, I think, of this day. And that's all I wanted to say. The rest of my contribution is to leave this great place to its peace, a peace it has earned.

Remember: he holds our Nation's checkbook and there's no limit to the bribes, rewards, incentives, etc. he can 'purchase' in exchange for YES votes. He might even offer up his first-born, the way Clinton did to Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky of PA back in 1993, when she finally gave in and switched to a YES vote for Hill'ry's Health Care Plan. Sure, the betrayal to her constituents ended her chances of re-election but heck! her son is now engaged to Chelsea Clinton, so pick up that phone! NOW!!

As I perused www.WhiteHouse.gov (remember, students: you can not defeat the enemy that you do not understand) I found this tidbit of info and LITERALLY laughed out loud:

"The President moves forward on reform to put American families in control of their health care."

The website is just another taxpayer-funded vehicle for your President to tell you of all the wonderful things he's doing just for you! If you view it frequently enough, you will succumb to the knowledge that you truly are a pathetic, helpless, blubbering idiot who seriously has no chance at survival without BO's help. He is the king of entrapment (Ooops! I mean king of 'concern and support')! Sometimes the website offers free food, sometimes it's free bus passes, and one day he even offered free hamsters! (well, maybe not hamsters...)

But to say that he wants to "put American families in control of their health care..."? That's a straight-up lie. He's the one who intends to be in control of your health care. I am convinced that in Mr. Obama's eyes, we are but mere tiny ocean fishes schooling about headed straight for his giant shark mouth. And he's reeallly hungry.

This is about so much more than just making insurance companies play nice and he knows it. We can not let him get his hands on our health care and all that it affects. If he does, you'd better stock up on books about herbal remedies because you might just have to grow your own medicine if you get sick.

And build a still because you'll need something to help you forget the 'good old days' when we were a strong and undivided Nation.

I never thought this day would come but there are murmurings out there that my favorite Vice President (EVER!) is being encouraged to run for President in 2012. For him to do so, and to WIN, would be my absolute dream come true! While I was happy with President Bush and I mean him no disrespect, I always secretly wished Dick Cheney were the main guy in charge.

America needs a man like Cheney at the top. Tough. Dedicated to his country. He knows what is right and he has the fortitude to make it happen. Totally unafraid. Certainly not concerned with ‘What will make me look better in the polls?’ And that grin/smirk/sneer (call it what you will, but it's hot!) is just plain awesome. Any one of the pansies in Obama’s court would waver and break in Cheney’s presence.

And since Chuck Norris probably isn’t interested in running as Cheney's VP candidate, I nominate Mike Huckabee for that position. A great man with integrity that cannot be questioned and, like Cheney, committed to his country like too few are.

Looking a Little Sad These Days ... or is He Just Pi$$ed?

I'm guessing he's pi$$ed. The unthinkable has occurred: Citizens and sometimes even the media (Gasp!) are daring to oppose him publicly. We are boldly questioning the way he spends our money and the partners he has selected to help him run this country. He's wondering "Where are all the celebrities who last year were willing to pay any price to stand next to me at a rally??"

Meanwhile, Hill'ry grins as she jots a few more notes in her 2012 Hill'ry 4 President journal. Then she pulls out the Blackberry an old loyal friend obtained for her and she sends a message to Glenn Beck, Rush Limbuagh, and Bill O'Reilly with the subject line: "Check out this clip from another Czar's past". Looks like things are picking up for everyone but Obama.

Leave Mr. Louis Haros and His Flag Alone!

Normally, I would be the first to shudder at the sight of our beloved Flag tattered, faded, and barely hanging on to its post. But there is usually a bigger story behind the one garnering all of the attention and, in Mr. Haros’ case, this definitely applies. The worn flag that flies proudly at his Fresno home was posted as a promise to his son, Corporal Paul Haros who is serving his 2nd tour of duty in Iraq. The loving father (himself a proud US Veteran) pledged to his son that this same flag would wave until the young Corporal's safe return from war.

Mr. Haros' son has been serving in Iraq long enough for the flag to become weather-worn and shredded. Yet, this flag continues to wave. This flag has been battered about by wind and rain and is nearly bleached from the sweltering sun. Yet it is undeniably still a US Flag, still a very recognizable symbol of freedom and bravery.

Just like this flag, Corporal Haros and his fellow Soldiers have been subjected to horrible, extreme conditions: sweltering weather, hideous living quarters, and many other burdens too numerous to count. Yet he too continues to march on, serving as an undeniable symbol of that which America should be most proud of: the unselfishness of those willing to sacrifice their own lives for the preservation of the very freedom we civilians take way too much for granted.

Instead of criticizing Mr. Haros for this tattered flag that continues to wave strong, perhaps his neighbors should remind themselves how fortunate we are that today’s young men and women are just as dedicated to serving their country as all who have served over the past 233 years.

Carry on, Soldiers. You are doing a fine job.

OHIO EXECUTES CONFESSED KILLER OF FIVE

A former truck driver who went on a multistate killing spree has been executed in Ohio for the murder of a Cincinnati man who gave him a ride in 1991. John Fautenberry, 45, of Oregon was pronounced dead at 10:37 a.m. Tuesday at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville. Fautenberry was sentenced to death for the slaying of Joseph Daron Jr., who picked him up while he was hitchhiking on Feb. 17, 1991. (Yes, the murder was almost 20 years ago!!)

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied Fautenberry's request to delay his execution Monday. Attorney Dennis Sipe asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the execution but that request was also denied. On Monday afternoon, Fautenberry was subdued as he watched television and listened to the radio. His only visitors were his attorney and a Catholic priest with whom he spent several hours.

Fautenberry pleaded no contest on July 23, 1992, to two counts each of aggravated murder and grand theft and one count of aggravated robbery. Fautenberry confessed to killing a total of five people in four states — Alaska, Oregon, Ohio and New Jersey — during a five-month period in late 1990 and early 1991.

Like I said: One down, still too many to go.

Have you tried Microsoft’s new Search Engine 'bing' yet? It’s wonderful! Google is freaking out because they are threatened with losing their death grip on cyberspace. The Google Empire worries they can’t compete with bing so they’ll distract us by introducing their own version of Windows: 'Chrome OS'. I seriously doubt Bill Gates is losing any sleep over this….

Greetings, my beautiful fellow Conservatives! I have not abandoned my cause (changing the world by taking on one Liberal at a time), nor this blog, but I have 100+ items on my agenda daily as I attempt to defy Democrat logic and pursue the dream of creating my own small business. It is the American dream and I am the biggest dreamer of all! Unfortunately, prioritizing currently leaves me little time for this blog but it is never far from my heart. Same goes for my dear fellow Conservatives.

Be assured that my fervor and passion and Love for my glorious America has not waned, nor has my belief that we Conservatives will soon hold the reins of our lovely nation once again. Greetings! There have been so many millions (TRILLION$, actually) of issues coming out of this whole ObamaLand experiment that I simply cannot select only a few to write about. If I ran to my pc and published a post every time another crook got appointed to a Cabinet post, another promise for salvation was offered up by Obama, or another billion tax dollars was cast into the wind, I’d have no time for my job … my family … I’d probably lose a ton of weight … all because there would be NO time away from my computer desk. Yet even then, I wouldn’t be able to cover it all.

I am almost dizzied by the frenzied pace at which Obama, Pelosi, Emmanuel, and the rest of the psychotic anti-Americans feed from my great-great grandchildren’s prosperity like piranhas. Won’t the Government's checkbook eventually have a zero balance and force them to stop spending? If not, where can I get a magic checkbook like theirs??!

Treasury Secretary nominee Timothy Geithner is promising the Senate Finance Committee that he will justify their trust in him if he is confirmed, despite a messy tax payment screw-up. He was merely “careless” when he forgot to pay $34,000 in Social Security and Medicare taxes a few years back. But it’s all good now because he says he’s paid it aaaallll back!

Two questions:

#1) Did he pay just the $34k tax liability or did he pay applicable penalties and interest? If I made a $34,000 mistake with the IRS, I’d have to sell my house to cover the interest and penalties.

#2) If Mr. Geithner is confirmed as Treasury Secretary (and thereby head boss man of the IRS), does his transgression mean that any American who also ‘carelessly’ shorts the IRS can quote Geithner during their defense? "These were careless mistakes. They were avoidable mistakes." If it works for him, it danged well better work for the rest of us.

Maybe in April when I submit my 1040, I’ll add this statement under my signature: “In the event of any transgressions on this form that appear to be in my favor: Yes, these were careless mistakes. And, yes, they were avoidable mistakes. But Mr. Geithner's confirmation as your boss is thereby confirmation that my mistake is acceptable.”

There is only one logical answer: his Majesty, King Obama, wants the US economy to be as decrepit as it can possibly be on Inauguration Day. Looks like NY Governor David Paterson is preparing to hire Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg to play house in my U.S. Senate. I take issue with such an appointment for severeal reasons, but here's my main quarrel:

While Ms. Kennedy campaigned vigorously (as vigorously as one can without breaking a sweat) for Barack Obama’s Presidential campaign, she continually praised his work ethic, moral integrity, and inspirational qualities (blah, blah, blah). But most importantly, she put great emphasis on the hope Obama brings to our down-trodden citizens by proving that, even if you start out in life as humbly as little ol’ Barack you, too, can one day be a big-shot politician by studying hard and working harder.

So why then does Caroline insist that she should inherit Hillry’s soon-to-be vacant Senate seat? I guess her philosophy about working your way up from the bottom only applies to OTHER people. She readily concedes that she has zero political experience and even she admits to being ashamed of pitiful voting record as a US citizen, further confirming her non-involvement in America. And surely she would agree that any of the other contenders for the NY Senate seat have more experience serving America than she does.

Wouldn't her assumed Senate appointment, which would be granted simply because she started out in life with the last name of Kennedy, be a tremendous contradiction to the rubbish she spewed while campaigning for Obama? Her sense of entitlement contradicts Barack’s campaign message so fiercely that I almost expected him to issue a statement suggesting Caroline should earn her way into the Senate the hard way. But then I remembered that the pavement for Obama’s road to the White House was purchased by people just like Kennedy so I suspect he’ll have ‘no comment’ on this issue.

Looks like the state of Texas is doing a little housecleaning and their Death Row population is dwindling at an accelerated rate. Props to you, dear Texans!

Last week, there were 12 condemned inmates in Texas death watch cells but plans are to have them all gone within 6 weeks. Two vermin were put down last week, two are scheduled for this week, and so on, and so on.

Lest you feel pity for the scum who are finally facing justice, let me introduce a few of them to you. Let's start with Alvin Kelly: he shot a family of three, including a 22-month-old boy. And there's Kevin Watts who shot three people in the back of the head during a robbery. But what about Bobby Wayne Woods, you ask? Oh, he slashed the throat of the 11-year-old daughter of his ex-girlfriend after abducting her and her little brother from their home. Not to be outdone, Eric Nenno raped and strangled a 7-year-old neighbor girl then hid her body in his attic. And, last but not least, there's Gregory Wright who fatally stabbed a 52-year old widow who had ministered to him and provided him with food, shelter and money.

Does the extermination of these slugs revive their victims? No. Does it alleviate the pain and heartache of the victims' survivors? I doubt it. But does it make me feel safer to know that every time a lethal injection is shot into a killer's veins or an electric chair is fired up, there's one less killer who might otherwise threaten the security of myself or a member of my family? You'd better believe it! And that is the Number One responsibility of our nation's leaders: to keep us safe. At least Texas understands that. That's one state down, 49 to go.

Senator John McCain is receiving overwhelming support from the military’s professional core, a Military Times survey has confirmed. Is it any wonder?

McCain handily defeated Senator Obama 68% to 23% in a voluntary survey of 4,293 active-duty, National Guard and reserve subscribers and former subscribers to Army Times, Navy Times, Marine Corps Times and Air Force Times. If Obama and his merry band of Liberal Democrats are ever fully in power, the U.S. will likely find itself with no Military force at all, which might explain why Democrats have gained little ground in their attempts to chip away at a traditionally Republican voter base within our Military's ranks.

Officers and enlisted troops, active-duty members and reservists, those who have served in combat and those who haven’t, all backed McCain by large margins, to about the same extent they supported President Bush four years ago. Among the top issues for respondents in the survey were: the war in Iraq, the candidate’s character, and the economy. Hence, McCain's experience as a POW which is embodied in his campaign slogan "Country First" carries a particular resonance in the military community.

Army Sgt. 1st Class Derriel D. Collins, who is black, said he was influenced by McCain’s service record, though he acknowledges black friends question his decision. “I’m not going to give my vote to you just because you’re black,” he said. “It doesn’t work like that. John McCain went to war for this country, even though he had an Admiral father who probably could have gotten him out of the service. He stuck it out five years in a prisoner of war camp. If that ain’t fortitude, showing your willingness to go all the way, I don’t know what the credentials are."

Army Sgt. Timothy Coen said he will vote for McCain because that would be in keeping with his political views. “I just always voted conservative and on a lot of the issues at hand — gun rights and abortion — it just seemed like the more logical choice,” he said. It seems that most anything is dispensable to the Democratic Party: be it an unborn child or the US Flag. I mean, do you know of anything more precious and sacred than #1) our children, or #2) the US Flag? So what does this say about the party and its Saviour Obama?

Fortunately, John McCain appreciates all that the US Flag represents and his people easily found new homes for the orphaned flags. Whew! There's no telling what else Senator Obama might consider dispensable. Maybe that nice house you've worked so hard to purchase? After all, shame on you for having a nicer home than the folks on the poor side of town. And maybe the white-collar job you scratched your way up to after starting out in the warehouse and going to night school needs to be eliminated, as well. Or at least income-taxed to the point that you can't afford that nice house. It seems that your high-ranking status on the CBS network has inflated your ego to a level that makes you think we tune in to you at night in search of guidance on who we should support politically and, unfortunately, you are convinced we ache for your insults of the politicians you have no respect for (ie: Republicans). Tonight you repeated your whining statement from last night in which you declared that John McCain's VP pick, Sarah Palin, is in no way qualified to serve as Vice President because (you say) she "hasn't had that 5-minute talk with her teenage daughter about birth control".

Dave ... (where do I begin?) if you are questioning the character of Mrs. Palin or her unmarried, pregnant daughter: aren't you currently shacking with the mother of your child? But if character is not your focus, are you suggesting that perhaps Mrs. Palin is too busy pursuing a career to be an attentive mother to her children? I'm curious: what 'source' do you have that confirms for you that such a "5-minute talk" never took place?

As a mother who has survived teenage years several times over, I suggest you keep your foot in your mouth (to avoid having to reinsert it repeatedly) and wait until your obedient little Harry is 15 and tells you he's all grown up and doesn't need you to tell him what's best for him. Then you can go on your TV show and tell your fans (if you have any left by then) about YOUR 5-minute talk.

Like a good American (or should I say 'sucka') I succumbed to the pressure of Mr. Gore and recently bought some of those funky spiral light bulbs that - according to Al Gore & his pals - will save the Earth. Not only that, he said they'd save me $$$. He's a liar! I bought my 6-pak of envirobulbs from my favorite store, Home Depot, and installed one to illuminate my back porch. I believe the package said each bulb would live several years, would save the planet, AND would be gentle on my pocketbook.

Well I'll be damned! The freakin Gorebulb has been installed less than 4 months and already it's burned out. That's a boatload of caca! And I wouldn't be so upset if it were the only bad bulb in the bunch but No, one of the other Gorebulbs in the box didn't work from Day One!

My efforts to be nice to the planet backfired BIGtime. Thanks alot, Mr. Gore. I don't suppose you could send someone over to illuminate my backyard, could ya? Next time, I'll buy the light bulbs John McCain recommends: if they even dare to flicker he throws a scary snarl their way and they brighten up good as new! Now that's taking care of business. OMG! There has been so much going on in my life that I barely noticed the odd ache. A sort of pit in my stomach, as if it were empty. But that was not the case ... What was it, you ask?? Seems I was depriving myself of ranting on this spot that you know you love so dearly!!

I know exactly what snapped me back into reality: it was the release of a new song(?) by the rapper Ludacris supporting Barack Obama for President. In the song he throws out alot of ridiculous ramblings but he crossed the line when he dared to slur the name of my man John McCain. You know, the same McCain who risked his life as a US soldier so freaks like Ludacris would continue to have the freedom to spew nonsense, regardless how offensive? In his song, Ludacris says that McCain does not belong in "any chair unless he's paralyzed."

Well that kinda ticked me off... but in a good way! It was the awakening I needed to snap me back into reality! I remembered that my voice is NECESSARY to help prevent a pansy, liberal, thinks-he's-God (ok .... Allah) from being seated in the Oval Office. Whew! In October 2007 when asked about his decision to stop wearing a flag lapel pin, Obama said, "You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after ... I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest. Instead, I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

But now it appears that the young man realizes that if he and his minions (yes I'm talking about you, General Clark) are going to persuade the American public that Senator John McCain isn't really all that special just because of his military career and POW experiences, then Barack had better start trying to make it look like he's just as American as us registered voters. And what better way than to don a US flag pin on your lapel? In Obama's defense, perhaps he couldn't wear the flag pin because of the persistent allergic reaction that festered on his chest every time the pin was fastened to his suit coat. The latest scary person to influence US Presidential Candidate Barack Obama (in a very non-American way, if you ask me) is none other than the young man pictured above: Rep. Keith Ellison of your U.S Congress. And, yes, that is a Koran he is being sworn in on by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

You'll recall that two women wearing traditional Muslim head scarves were recently booted from the front lines of a public appearance by Obama because he's trying ever so hard to make America 'forget' that he is indeed Muslim. Rep. Ellison convinced Obama that the women deserved a swift and sincere apology and Barack being the obedient Muslim that he is, called the women to express his deepest regrets over the injustice forced upon the two women.

How can Barack Obama insist day after day after day that he is his own man when he continues to bow to the pressures of individuals like Ellison, who confronted Obama over the issue during a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus? Upon Ellison's insistance, Obama apologized to the women who were removed from the stage area behind the location where Obama would be speaking. Ellison even provided the women's phone numbers to the Obama camp! Many members of the CBC supported Ellison and said “it was an issue that needed to be addressed.

So Obama is being guided by a Muslim and by the Congressional Black Congress. And he wants to be MY PRESIDENT? I've searched very, very hard and the only thing I can come up with that Obama and I have in common is we are both overjoyed that Hill'ry won't be in the White House. Well, and we both have big ears. But his are bigger than mine, so there!!

But then I remembered who we were talking about: a cold, do-anything-to-get-what-I-think-I-deserve-and-cut-anyone-who-gets-in-my-way woman who only kept her greasy, philandering husband around because she (mistakenly) thought he'd help her skate into the White House. PS: Bill, heads-up: I think you're about to get your walking papers.

Twenty-one year old Lance Cpl. Robert Crutchfield of Cleveland, Ohio was shot point-blank in the neck during a robbery at a bus stop while home on a 30-day Leave from Iraq. Feeding and breathing tubes kept him alive 4 1/2 months but he succumbed to an infection and died.

The two #$%^&*'s responsible for this young man's death are Ean Farrow (19) and Thomas Ray III (20). Local Prosecutor Bill Mason said the case is "under review" to decide whether to seek the death penalty. How can there be any question of penalty? These miscreants killed this man for a measly 8 bucks. I strongly urge the death penalty ... and may I be the one to place their feet in buckets of water just before 'the switch' is thrown?

Slime such as the two men who committed this murder know they will be coddled by our court system and that's why they have no fear and no respect of authority. When are the law-abiding citizens of America going to get so angry that we boil over and opt to take justice into our hands and start popping thugs off one at a time? That must be what our penal system is waiting for because they are certainly moving entirely too slow.

While any murder is tragic, this one is especially troublesome to me. As the mother of Marines, imagine my distress when I heard this quote from the young Marine's aunt: "They turned his pockets inside out, took what he had and told him since he was a Marine and didn't have any money he didn't deserve to live. They put the gun to his neck and shot him." Burn in Hell, Bastards.

Scott McClellan, former Press Secretary to the President, has opted to 'service' those who despise My President and wrote a 368-page book that pretty much slams the entire Bush White House. But maybe it's not McClellan's fault: maybe his pimp ... er, I mean publisher made him do it! Either way, Mr. McClellan's book is full of such history-making tidbits as: "I have no idea what they discussed, but it seemed suspicious for these two, whom I had never noticed spending any one-on-one time together, to go behind closed doors and visit privately..." (He's referring to seeing Scooter Libby and Karl Rove chatting in a hallway.) wOw! Very impressive, Scott, on your obviously astounding extra-sensory perception abilities!

McClellan maintains "I still like and admire President Bush." Wtf, mate? This is how you express friendship? Admiration? While that's ironic enough, McClellan insists that we believe he was always loyal to his President, even when he 'knew' lies were being told. Hey Scott: If loyalty is such a huge part of your life, please explain the publishing of this book!

My heart is saddened to see this young man who was granted the dream job of a lifetime choose to burn his bridges in this manner. Can't Mr. McClellan see that this book serves no purpose other than some extra cash in his pockets?

Perhaps the only amusing part of this story is that Amazon lists this book in their Non-Fiction and History sections. Hello?!

I Suppose Delayed Justice is Better Than No Justice at All

Say "Goodbye" to Earl Wesley Berry, folks. The Mississippi Department of Corrections did the right thing and (finally!) put this self-confessed murderer to death for his 1987 beating and murder of a 56-year old woman. You ask, Why did it take so long ... Has he been on the lamb for the past 20 years? No. Was there questionable evidence in the case? No.

The delay was simply the reward for defense lawyers without souls. Period. They fought and fought and fought to keep this varmint alive because .... well I'm not sure why. Other than the fact that they were on somebody's payroll: most likely YOURS, American taxpayer.

Regardless, this beast was exterminated on May 21, 2008, 21 years after his heinous crime. While it disgusts me that justice was so very slow, I am still pleased to know that it at least has finally been realized.

There are over 3200 individuals on death row right now in the US. Can't we just have a giant bonfire and be done with them all? Before you judge me as heartless, keep in mind that I offer the same amount of mercy to killers as they offer their victims. And if there were 12,658 murders in the US in 2007 then shouldn't there logically be (close to) 12,658 killers on death row?

Let me just spit it out: Barack Obama is an idiot. He is low-class, unintelligent, extremely full of himself and is especially full of really smelly ... stuff. While unloading all that makes me feel a wee bit better, I suppose I am now obligated to explain lest there be a doubter reading this.

You see, the punk-a$$ Senator from Illinois has become so egotistical, so disgustingly patronizing, and so obviously delirious, he has called Senator John McCain 'naive' for McCain's stance on how to deal with potential enemies of the U.S. Yeah, that's right: the same John McCain who's been a U.S. Senator since 1986 ... the guy who has first-hand knowledge of dealing with enemies because of his 5+ years as a POW during Vietnam WHILE SERVING A COUNTRY HE'S VERY PROUD OF. Yup! Barack called that guy 'naive'.

How appropriate that these remarks were made by Barack during a South Dakota town-hall meeting held in a livestock barn. And that was no coincidence: this way the smell from the poop Barack oozed as he ran his mouth could be blamed on the cattle. I'm sure Obama's posse was really proud off themselves for thinking of this newest cover-up method. Good one, boyz!

Just look at McCain's mug one more time ... is that the face of naivette? I think not!

Widdle Bawock Obama has gotten his feelings hurt again and is determined - once again - to convince us that YES the world truly does revolve around him.

My President was speaking to the Israeli Parliament when he said that anyone who claims that talking with terrorists will result in peace is experiencing a foolish delusion. Did he mention Barack’s name? No. So why did Obama flip out and accuse my President of launching a "false political attack" (Barack’s new favorite phrase)?

Even John Kerry, who is still bitter over his failure to qualify for the Kentucky Derby, called my President’s comments a slander on Obama.

While I praise Perino’s remarks, I especially dig what John McCain (my next President) said about the whole thing: “I think Barack Obama needs to sit down and explain why he wants to talk with a man who is the head of a government that is a state sponsor of terror, that is responsible for the killing of brave young Americans, who wants to wipe Israel off the map, denies the Holocaust. That is what I think that Senator Obama ought to explain to the American people.”

Barack Obama has no idea what his handlers have gotten him into by making him think he’s qualified to reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He truly does believe that he is the center of the universe and I’m thinking there are not enough band-aids in the world for the beating he will incur if he and McCain end up in a full-out dogfight between now and November. This isn’t child’s play, young man. How about you come back when you’re all grown up?

All because Cher spilled her guts to Okra Winfrey about her ‘fling’ with Tom Cruise back in the 1980’s, Barbara Walters figured she should come clean, too, so she blabbed to Okra about HER affair in the 70's with married U.S. Senator Edward Brooke.

Barbara was 'deeply in love' with her politician guy and Cher was 'crazy about' Tommy. And we need to know this .... why? There's a reason Mother Nature inflicts senility on us when we get too old to know the difference between need-to-know and straight-up TMI. C'mon, girls! Give in and at least pretend that you've forgotten your sordid past. Do it for us poor souls who might be listening!

I swear, if Joan Rivers comes out and publicly divulges a past affair with ... anybody(!) then I am marching to the Social Security Administration and demanding that a giant roll of duct tape be issued with the first Social Security check of every antique female star longing for one more moment in the spotlight. We just can't take anymore! Eeeewww!
